Shaped by the Work
Nick Tintle’s path wasn’t built in comfort or privilege. It was shaped by early mornings, injury, and years of showing up when no one was watching. From blue-collar Levittown to college lacrosse’s highest level, through setbacks and championships, every phase of the journey demanded resilience, discipline, and accountability.
That experience went beyond making him a better player, it shaped his coaching philosophy and inspired him to create a special place for the game of lacrosse. The standards and systems at The Lacrosse Barn are built from lived experience, not theory. Every athlete is trained with the same mindset that carried Nick through adversity: earn everything, waste nothing, and commit fully to becoming the best version of yourself.

2012
From Carolina to California the long road
Recruited out of Long Island and committed to North Carolina, Nick arrived on campus and quickly realized he came from a different world. When his college career ended without a National Championship, he walked away from the game entirely selling all his gear and starting over.
Years later, in California, Nick decided to turn away from the corporate path and chose coaching instead, earning $10 an hour while learning how athletes actually develop. His breakthrough came not from a first time lacrosse player who was willing to put in the extra work. Three years of daily training later, she earned a scholarship to Stanford and became a three-time All-American.
That moment clarified everything. Nick wasn’t just teaching skills, he was building a system. Creating a roadmap for young athletes to follow.
2024
Lacrosse Barn built
The Lacrosse Barn was founded just outside Dallas with a singular purpose: to build the world's first facility of its scale designed exclusively for lacrosse. Every detail (field layout, turf, lighting, training zones) was engineered for how the sport is actually played and developed. Nothing comparable exists in Texas.
.Led by two-time All-American and MLL Champion Nick Tintle, the Barn integrates skill development, strength training, and speed work into a single cohesive system. This reflects how elite athletes are built and how championships are won.
Athletes travel from across the United States and internationally (Canada, Australia, Japan, London, Czech Republic) not simply to train in a premier facility, but to access a proven development philosophy. One that has produced Division I, II, III commits and All-Americans.
The Lacrosse Barn is not a club, gym, or rental space. It is a purpose-built lacrosse ecosystem for serious athletes, setting the standard in Texas and redefining what elite development looks like.

Now
Elite athletes arrive
Elite athletes don't look for convenience. They seek environments that demand more.
At The Lacrosse Barn, we train athletes fully committed to long-term development. Middle schoolers building foundational skills. High-level recruits preparing for college. Collegiate and professional players refining their edge. Every athlete enters the same high-standard environment.
Our training philosophy is intentional. Lacrosse is an anticipatory, decision-driven sport. Development does not happen in isolation. That's why our model prioritizes small-group training over private sessions. Athletes train in live, competitive settings where timing, spacing, pressure, and decision-making are constantly challenged.
Every session integrates skill execution, athletic movement, speed, and lacrosse IQ. Real competition. Real consequences. Real growth.
This approach has helped thousands of athletes earn opportunities at Division I, II, and III programs. Many arrive overlooked. They leave prepared, confident, and capable of competing at the next level.
No shortcuts. No participation trophies. Just a clear, disciplined pathway built on standards, accountability, and the daily pursuit of excellence.

To collapse the timeline between potential and elite performance for lacrosse athletes who refuse to settle, by combining championship-proven training methods with the blue-collar work ethic that built a world champion.

A world where Texas produces lacrosse champions who compete at the highest levels - not despite starting late or facing longer odds, but because they had access to lacrosse training that refused to accept anything less than elite.

Blue-Collar Excellence
We don't care about your last name or your club team. We care about your willingness to grind when nobody's watching. No shortcuts. No excuses. Show up, do the work, earn every single thing you get.
The Group Makes You Better
Lacrosse is a reactionary sport. You can't simulate game speed alone. Athletes train in groups because that's where real development happens - reacting to live competition, adjusting on the fly, learning to dominate in chaos.
Championship Standard
Nick played professionally and won a world championship. That's not a credential - it's a standard. Every drill, every session, every athlete gets trained like they're one season away from playing at the highest level.

Respect the Roadmap
Nick won a championship at 31 after being cut, breaking bones, and playing through injuries most athletes would've quit over. At Lacrosse Barn, we respect the process that actually works, not the shortcuts that feel good.

Results Over Rhetoric
Talk is cheap. Nick has sent athletes to Stanford, to Division I programs, to levels they didn't think were possible. We don't win by telling you what you want to hear. We win by showing you what you're capable of.
All Gas When It Matters
We don't teach burnout. We teach knowing when to step on the gas and leave everything on the field. When practice matters. When the off-season separates winners from almosts. When your career window is open and you'd better not waste it.
Our Team
Built by champions who know what it takes.
